Job description

For one of our clients in the Energy sector, we are looking for a Finance Business Partner.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teams to identify areas for improvement in reporting processes
  • Work closely with external consultants to optimize the utilization of financial reporting
  • Conduct a comprehensive review of IFRS / accounting technical topics to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Help to develop internal controls based on gap analysis / identified areas of improvement
  • Provide guidance and recommendations on enhancing reporting efficiency and accuracy



Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting
  • Proficiency in Tagetik or similar financial reporting software
  • Strong understanding of IFRS standards and technical accounting topics, including consolidation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Fluent in English, working knowledge of FR and NL
